Soft food or hard food ?
Feeding an animal only soft canned food can have its ups and downs as well. While the soft food is visibly different and has a higher moisture content, it has relatively the same amount of nutrient found in hard, dry kibbles. However, the moisture content allows not only in helping with the prevention of urinary tract infections, but also helps keep the animal hydrated. It may be less expensive to buy a can one at a time, yet it costs more overall to feed an animal only soft food. Also, it could be damaging their teeth, as it doesn’t allow the teeth to become stronger from a harder surface.
